July 2011 CU Chatter

Hi

I was wondering for the previews section, do we want to do how we have been doing it? Or do we want to do categories? Like a Flowers preview section, a buttons preview section, etc.? Just trying to figure out what would be best

I think categories is a GREAT idea! it will keep things more organized and also easy to find

Also I was wondering if we wanted to keep releasing things at BrS? I know I posted a few things, but should I take them off the newsletter section?

Oh and I will go make you an admin as well, so we can both edit posts!

I think we should stop the releases at BrS.

That's what I was thinking, but wanted to be sure you were okay with it! I will go remove them from the newsletter section. And we can update our schedule with what we want to release from here on out beginning Aug. 1st at DSW

I was even thinking, we could change the Grab Bag, to say August and just release it at DSW when we start there. I don't think we've sold any, and then we can break it open at the end of August. What are your thoughts?

So...our starting date at DSW is on August 1st? And we are starting with the August grab bag..right? (I was posting as you posted....so yeah! we can use the July Grab Bag and change it to say August..is that what you mean?

Was the may grab bag our very first release at BrS? I can't remember. Seems like we should have more stuff...or not?

We should make a list of every single product we have...or..well...I guess that's what the previews section is for.

But we should start deciding what we are doing starting on Aug 1st

BTW..I know this is not MBscraps related...but I was hoping to work on the mini tomorrow. Any preference on which swatch to work with?

Yes that is right, to just switch the name and reuse it! And switch the packaging, huh?!!

No we have releases from way before May, I think May was when we started a schedule? Maybe??

I love both swatches, so either is fine with me I am going to work on it as well. If we get it done, maybe we can put it together and get the Addicts page done, and get it posted for the newsletter on Tuesday? What do you think? We can try to anyways....

I can go through and post a list of everything we have. Then we can decide what we want to release for our Grand Opening, and get those previews redone. And then we can work on the others as time goes on.

I think a list is what we need..so it would be awesome if you can do that.

I think we can definitely do the mini tomorrow and have it ready by tomorrow night.

Okay it looks like (if I read it right from our email) she sends out the newsletter with the new releases on Saturdays. So I updated our schedule with Saturday dates. Also I added to our schedule the 27th of each month, which is the due date for the freebie of the month.

We are also going to need to decide what (few is what she said) items to do for the $2 Thursdays. Maybe I can add that to the schedule, or we can start another thread with the dates for Thursdays and what items we will put in that category? What are your thoughts?

I finished the papers for the mini...I'm working on the ellies now. I'll post a preview and a DL link. You think you could do the preview tomorrow?? I just remembered that I still need to work on the collab!

And yes, I can definitely do the preview and everything. I am finishing up a few things and will work on my mini! I will for sure have it all done tomorrow and get it in the thread before tomorrow night

Should we tell the designers we are moving MB Scraps? Or do we want to wait until Evie gets around to responding to us? I just don't want to throw it at them last minute, and as of Saturday we only have 2 more weeks. What are your thoughts??

Yeah..sorry I didn't commented on it....I got home almost at 9...and I've been procrastinating the collab since I got home!! I just don't like the pet theme..lol I have less than 2 hours to finish...eeek!!
If you don't mind letting the others now...that would be so helpful!

And after this collab...tomorrow all day I plan on working on addicts stuff

If so what of our products do we want to use? Cindy said we can put it in our store after the month is over

Also we need to decide what products (besides our Grab Bag) that we want to open with in our store. So that we can switch the previews out before August 1st

And I was thinking that we need to put together a flyer for this week to do our closing our store sale. Did we want to do Thursday and Friday? How much do we want off? And I am thinking I will pull the grab bag for this week, so that no one buys it and we can move it What are your thoughts?
